I was awarded an Artist Residency at TX STUDIO, where I created Five Mile Radius, a photography project centered on community and connection. Over the course of my residency, I photographed 100+ individuals who lived within a five-mile radius of the studio, capturing their stories through portraiture. Each participant received a 4x6 heirloom print on the spot, reinforcing the power of tangible photography in a digital world.

To bring the project full circle, I hosted a Gallery Show, inviting participants to see themselves reflected in the community and meet their neighbors in a shared space. Five Mile Radius became more than a photography series—it was a collective experience designed to engage, connect, and celebrate the people who make up a neighborhood.
